Applications of Oxygen from 99.5% High-Purity Oxygen Generators


The oxygen with 99.5% purity generated by the 99.5% oxygen generator balances cost and purity, and is widely used in medical treatment, metallurgy, cutting, chemical industry, water treatment, glass manufacturing, laboratories, special manufacturing and other fields.


  I. Metal Processing and Metallurgy (Largest Oxygen Consumption Scenario)

CNC flame cutting of carbon steel, stainless steel and thick steel plates, as well as air gouging of thick workpieces. Oxygen at 99.5% purity delivers stable combustion, smooth cutting surfaces and no slag adhesion. Compared with 93% purity oxygen, it features faster cutting speed and lower consumable loss, making it the mainstream choice for shipyards, steel structure factories and construction machinery manufacturers.


  Oxygen Blowing for Steelmaking Converters

Decarbonization and temperature rise in electric furnaces and converters to improve molten steel purity and reduce impurities; deoxidation and steel grade adjustment in refining furnaces.


   Non-Ferrous Metal Smelting

Replacing air with 99.5% oxygen for combustion raises furnace temperature and reduces heat loss caused by nitrogen absorption, achieving 20%–40% energy savings. It produces glass with uniform light transmittance and drastically fewer bubble defects.
